Oct. 4 - Feast of St. Francis of Assisi - Patron Saint of the Environment

It is the Prayer of St. Francis that was the theme of the quiet mediation in the labor problem of teachers in SIC two years ago this time. San Ildefonso College SPORTSFEST 2010

San Ildefonso College held its 2010 SPORTS FEST starting in the morning of Monday September 13 2010 with the participation of the Pre-School, Grade School, High School, and College students. Kicked off with a Marathon Race in the early morning, a Mass, then a Parade. The three top winners of the Marathon ran a relay before lighting the SPORTSFEST TORCH officially marking the opening of the event, following a pennant raising competition among all the participating teams. The singing of the National Anthem was sang after an opening Prayer, then the taking of the Sportsmanship Oath. The teams acknowledged with cheers as they were called.....then all the activities began with the pre-school calisthenics as the trigger as the excited parents gigled with their digicams.
