This is the Design for the Permanent Tags for the Chairs donated by SIC Alumni for the SIC Speech Laboratory. Its is approximately 2"x2" with a black background to merge with the chair color. It will be fixed at the back of each chair using moisture proof hard stick vynil computer printed decal. The fixing of the tags will be made prior to the inauguration of the San Ildefonso College Speech Laboratory to alow time for the Donors to specify their preferred text on the tags.
For example the 5 chairs pledged by Laarni Garcia Omingo for Batch 79. They may be marked "Donated in 2009 by" "SIC HS Batch 1979" with one or some tagged "Donated in 2009 by" "Laarni G. Omingo HS79" The matter is simpler for Donors who donated single chairs.
The tagging of chairs is not a credit issue. Rather this communicates to the student beneficiaries that the Alumni who are willing to help the Alma Mater are from different Batches currently based in so many places, following the tradition pioneered by Columban Fr. Edmund Bahl and his fellow New Yorker Tommy Choma and Francsican Fr. Cornelio Brower many years ago.
It would be best that Donors email their preferences to mcsicaa@yahoo.com.
Thank you all !

The Ildefonsians and Tanayans in the Board of Directors, Management, and Staff of the Tanay Water District enjoin all to celebrate WORLD WATER DAY on March 22, 2009 by conserving water, supporting environmental regeneration projects and planting at least one tree on or before each birthday.
Wishing to feature a song from the Ethnic Groups in Tanay but wanting of any available recording, a song by Ethnic Filipina Musician Grace Nono entitled "Anungan" which mirrors the beginning of Life in Water as in the First Book of Genesis may provide some inspiration if you would please follow this link

FINAL QUOTATION FOR CHAIRS GIVES DISCOUNT
Because of the increase of the number of chairs for the Speech Laboratory from 40 to 51 to include observers/expansion and instructor as mentioned by Ms. Lanie Ninonuevo of San Ildefonso College Office in charge of facilities, we requested for additional discount from LUFU, the chair supplier. In a final quotation faxed this afternoon, LUFU reduced the price per chair from P880.00 to P850.00 of a 3.4% discount. Originally the 51 chairs would cost P44,880.00. After the 3.4% discount this has reduced to P43,350.00 or a savings of P1,530.00 which can be added to the Project Contingency Fund part of which will be used for the permanent tagging of the chairs.
The faxed Final Quotation from LUFU Design Center is shown below. Kindly click the image to enlarge.
A request is therefore made from the SICAA Finance Committee thru the SICAA President, to make the necessary arrangements for the release of the required 50% Down Payment such that the Delivery Date can be set towards Final Payment. Meanwhile the Membership Committee will make the necessary preparations for the tagging of the chairs upon interim delivery in Pasig, prior to final transport to Tanay. The chairs will be tagged, then turned over to Msgr Peter Canonero at a date to be arranged.
For information update of all Officers, Members with special thanks to Donors.

Dear Ate Ellen,
Thank you for your comments, too. Kadadating pa lang naman from Manila and I happy to report on the visit of your Sister, Mita of SIC HS Class 1960 and two of your Grand Nieces one of whom is Myka who has email address myka.mariano@yahoo.com Since she has studied two years in SIC when she was in Prep and Kinder, she will be qualified as Ildefonsian if the SICAA Constitution is amended as planned. Re : 91st Foundation Anniversary of San Ildefonso College
This year 2009, San Ildefonso College is celebrating its 91st Foundation
Anniversary as it was founded as "Tanay Catholic School" in 1918 by
Fr. Cornelio de Brower, a Franciscan Missionary. We are posting the Invitation received by SICAA for the Foundation Day Celebrations including the different activities for March 6 and 7, 2009. It is significant to note that three graduates of San Ildefonso College have become Franciscan Missionaries like its Founder - Fr. Cornelio Browner. They are Fr. Carlos Santos OFM of HS Class 1972, Fr. Cristino Pine OFM of HS Class 1994, and Fr. Eric Ollague OFM of HS Class 1998. And there are other lldefonsian priests such as Fr. Salvador Yun of HS Class 1979 and Fr. Raymond Arre, whom I will interview soon. We extend our warmest sincere Greetings and Congratulations to San Ildefonso College on this very significant occasion and to the Teachers who are Service Awardees such as Mrs. Maryan Pasa - 10 years, Ms. Gercil M. Castaneda - 15 years, Ms. Olive Gallego - 15 years, and Mrs Anabella Yun-Capistrano - 35 years. CONGRATULATIONS to All!
